This little stamping machine works great. I was pleasantly surprised to see how well it cuts! This is the heart of any punching machine. I am uploading the image below to show the intricate matrix I cut out of 80# cardstock. It cuts perfectly on the first pass with no spacers. The inserts are 3 inches wide and 6 1/2 inches long, which is larger than my previous machine (which broke after a year and required multiple passes to cut difficult dies). I am very happy with this purchase. . After reading the complaints about the lack of suction, I wiped the underside very well with a disinfectant wipe. The suction has worked flawlessly since then, gently pressing it down and fixing it on my glass cutting mat. (I noticed that you should keep it clean of scraps of paper and glitter.) I really hope this one holds up well. Update - Ok. I have found that it cannot be used for cards heavier than 80#. Also, some stamps are too thick to push through.
