EDIT: I found a better product - CarPro PERL. let me explain. Although PERL is almost twice the price of VRP, it can be diluted in any ratio from 1:1 to 1:5, giving you more liquidity per unit price with PERL. Also, I've found that diluted (1:1) PERL lasts as long as VRP and I agree with that. More diluted versions are used in my engine bay, both interior and exterior trim, with no issues related to VRP.--------------------- ORIGINAL VERIFICATION - ---- --------------- Bought this product because of the many great reviews it had. As soon as I got it I applied it to my cleaned tires, it worked. The tires feel silky, they weren't too shiny, plus the product didn't stick to my paintwork while driving. It goes without saying that the product stays on the tires longer when it is not raining. The maximum number of days I've had an acceptable shine level is around 7-8 days (in purely dry, warm weather). So far, so good. I have also applied the product to some plastic and rubber parts in the engine compartment and it works well there. One day I decided to apply this VRP to the exterior trim. At first, these trim pieces (plastic and rubber) looked updated. Over the next 2 days, which were dry, the product held up and the parts still looked good. But on the 3rd day it started raining. From my observations, the product was partially washed off. The treated areas had greyish, unsightly and highly visible water stains and immediately below there was residual paint which indicated that the product had been washed off. So disappointed. Maybe I could buy this product again for my underhood parts and tires, but when I find another product that handles all the rubbers and plastics well, I'll hop off.
