I buy Costco apples in these flat plastic bags and I'm sick of them taking up my entire counter. I was looking for a hanging shelf that would fit a package and this shelf is perfect! I just cut off the top of the wrapper and can move it in and out to get the apple. I like that the metal is thin enough to hang under the closet (rather than inside the closet) and still be closed. door complete. The downside, however, is that it doesn't really hold much weight due to the flimsy metal handles. The apple turnover really sagged him in the back and I think he would have sagged over time. I secured this with $2 plastic Lowes cable ties and attached them to the bottom of the cabinet with small screws to keep the backing from sagging.
