When the device is turned on and the volume is increased by more than 10%, a high level of noise is heard. If I crank my computer's volume all the way up, it's busy enough for an office environment, while keeping the speaker volume low enough not to get feedback. The 3.55mm through channel is not very good. I have headphones at a moderate price and the quality straight from the computer is excellent. When I plug them into a speaker the quality sucks and the volume has to stay low or I hear a buzz. Oh, and the bright blue, blinding light that the heck missed the quality check. Used for a day, then tossed in a drawer, learned a lesson.
