I love that there were instructions for fit on the amazon listing. That made it significantly easier to make sure it was secured on my dog. Got this as a replacement harness for our smaller dog, as her vest style one was unfortunately rubbing against her underarm too much, based on her physical body shape and how it moved too much on her. The design of this is far better suited for her. ( she's a smooth fox terrier mix, terrier build ( small, lean) ; it's in her coloration that you see that she's not all terrier ).While this is a great harness for smaller dogs like her, I don't think a design like this would suit the physical body shape of larger dogs ( her big sister, also adopted is a labradoodle ; standard poodle build , but with a shaggy wavy hair coat) .
