I KNOW IT'S LONG BUT WORTH READING. The locket was wonderful. I liked the shiny photo. The inside was slightly faded near the hinge. I wish everything was shiny but there was just a tiny smudge in the inner corner and everything else was fantastic! It was so strong that it was difficult for me to open it. They send a small pick, which you can use to open it first until it comes loose. I'd obviously prefer it to be a bit difficult to open than not stay closed. I bought it for my sister in law and she loved it. It's also the perfect size. I can't stand big, clunky, tasteless decorations. It's close to nickels in size. I definitely recommend coating the image with a coating from the company rather than pasting the image yourself. I know it's more money but the picture won't come out and it looks amazing. Aside from the necklace and guitar pick, it also had a cleaning cloth and a really nice white gift box with the brand's gold lettering and a thin gold nib printed on it. I really liked the gift box! I bought a heart shaped sunflower locket with a glossy finish over two pictures and an engraving on the back. If you're considering a purchase, do it. As said, you definitely need them to place your photos in to get the best result because the overlay on the picture sticks to it and makes it look so nice and shiny! I have had the best experiences with him. My sister-in-law has been wearing it every day for almost two months and it is still in the condition it was delivered. Hope that helps.
