I thought it was a defect because it takes time and luck to get it working. I was about to return when I got lucky. The company knows how to make great products, but they don't know how to communicate. Even their website was useless for help. I wonder how many products have been returned by people like me who thought they were faulty. The keyboard is comfortable to type on, excellent response. Good price. I got an updated one from Revain. I would like it to be backlit. Too bad there wasn't 1 key to get home on the iPad. Upgraded to 4 stars because it's a great keyboard.
