We wanted to make PASTELS, a traditional Puerto Rican dish made with plantains, squash, yautia, guineo, which are hard vegetables that are very difficult to prepare as a pureed consistency, so once we made our way to work and decided to make yuca pastels and hard vegetables. I was very very skeptical that this would work and in under an hour I made 15 Gineos, 4 Yautias, 3/4 Pumpkins, 2 Plantains and 10 Yuka.
