I use it with a Polex hand grinder, about 10-12 adjustment notches made my favorite coffee. The stainless steel filter is a little different from the hot water filling technology, it is different from the paper filter, there are many websites, so please search the Internet and try to find your favorite. Pour plenty of water with finely ground grains. Therefore, it is best to grind the grains coarsely and not use the grains to the last drop. I usually use 10g of beans and 150ml of 80°C water per person, but for this carafe and filter it is better to make coffee for at least 2 people, i.e. H. Use at least 20g of grain. If you only use 10g, the area where you need to pour hot water is too small. If you pour water directly onto the filter (not onto the coffee beans), the water will simply flow through the filter and instantly dilute your coffee. Therefore, it is better to let some ground beans rise from the bottom of the filter so that you can easily pour water on the coffee beans. This Carefe is of course made of glass, but the filter stand, with which beans can be measured (1 point approx. 20 g), is made of plastic. I was concerned about the shipping protection, it might break during shipping, but it has pretty good protection and nothing to worry about. Unless it's being treated really roughly or badly, the protection will help get it to you without any problems. Again I use a Makineta, it's very simple, just pour water and ground coffee, put it on the stove and just wait, but this one is very experimental. If you want consistent coffee flavor at all times, it's best to upgrade to a fully automatic dripper. It gives you many opportunities to discover what really changes the taste of coffee, definitely expands your coffee world and deepens your experience, and eventually becomes your favorite coffee bean and you find a way to brew coffee.
