Review on Blue 4K Canvas Artist Portfolio Shoulder Bag For Drawing Sketching Painting Tanchen Multifunctional Drawboard Bags by Ken Vargas

Great portability. Lots of pockets.

What I expected. I use it to transport some of my oil painting stuff to and from my weekly painting group. I carry my pallet, apron, sketchbook, rags, etc in it and my painting if it is dry enough. My paint, brushes and other wet items are carried in a separate case as this portfolio would never be large enough for all of that. My goal is to be able to carry everything I need with two hands, and this helps me do that. I don’t use the backpack straps much and consider them extraneous for my purposes. I was previously using a huge portfolio case that was way too large. It flopped around and dragged on the ground as I rarely put artwork large enough in it to justify such a pain. This case size is perfect; I can carry a 16”x20” canvas just fine. No larger canvas will fit. This case might be ideal to carry all supplies for a dry and less material intensive medium , such as pencils or pastels. Then it would be perfect for the kids to backpack it across campus for art class, but I am not one of those. There are a couple of small items with this that suggests it is cheaply made, but it has held up just fine, so that may not be a fair comment Overall, I’m pleased.

Pros
  • Perfect
Cons
  • Looks a little flimsy, not as good as pictured. Good for large size 2D board.
