I honestly didn't expect to get such a good tool for this price. Will it give you high accuracy when used in your missile guidance system? I have no idea. I bought it to weld new spacers on trailer frame, everything had to be even and consistent before and after welding. It definitely worked better than a string, tape measure, bubble level, or just an eye test. My farm now has a million different uses planned. I found the remote control superfluous in the description but it is actually useful. You can position the laser however you like, turn it off and on again for lunch, and you never have to worry about moving it around easily by pressing the buttons on it. There are no photos in the description to prove this is true. It's a nice high impact plastic case with special foam inserts to house all the included components, I just don't know what the empty Y-slot is for. If I ever get a Y-shaped object, your foresight assures me I'll have room for it. I looked at some that were 8x the price and couldn't justify the difference in price. If you plan to give $800 to your family after you die, how many generations will you get for $800? You're still better off going that route, the next 8 generations of your family can just buy a new one for the same final amount as that $800. You can break 8 of them before you reach the price of one of the more expensive ones.
