Put in an old laptop so I could get 5Gb. Unlike most things, it didn't start flying right out of the box. After installing the drivers from the Intel site, it was discovered that while bluetooth did function, Wi-Fi stubbornly refused to power on. Spent the entire day attempting to figure out the issue and ended up having to glue the pin in place. Aside from the 20th, the 51st was unsuccessful. I've included an online photo; the gadget is different, but the Intel pin configuration is identical. The result was a 25 percent boost in speed when comparing 5G to 2.4G. The outcome seems pointless for the year 1800.
