Scans paint well on walls and then gives you a choice of colors from major paint manufacturers. One of the "great" matches was a long way off though, and I rescanned the paint on the wall several times to make sure it was reading the paint on the wall consistently. Waste of money for a gallon of paint that doesn't match and the Nix system is overpriced. So I lost $30 on color and $99 on a color matching system that I trust very little. It's better to just ask them to match the color at the store with a sample you bring.
