Review on ARTDOT A4 USB Powered Light Box For Tracing: Brightness Adjustable With Ultra Slim Design For Diamond Painting, Copy Sketching, And Drawing by Billy Ivy

Revainrating 4 out of 5

One of the best things I've bought this year.

The light board is really great for doing diamond paintings and I'm so glad I got it. The only complaint I have is that the area where the microschip is (which controls turning the light on and off) has come out of it's spot. The black part of the board with the power logo on it is basically a strip of plastic with adhesive on it that should hold the chip with the touch sensitive contact and micro-usb power port on it into it's molded area, but the adhesive has weakened due to the torque placed on the strip when a cord is plugged in, and the strip has come loose. See the picture included. It doesn't seem to affect the functioning of the board or cause any safety issues. I can forsee the possibility that those wires may become detached from the power port more easily, though, so I might have to find a way to secure the chip where it's supposed to be.The sorters have been great as well, although a few times there has been enough of a gap for maybe 1 dot to escape the container and wander around but you can pretty much spare a few if they get lost on any good kit. I like the tools that came with this better than the ones that come with the diamond kits I've purchased, as well.and now the light doesn't work because one of the wires detached from its solder point due to being moved around.

Pros
  • Drawing
Cons
  • The light box is not suitable for those with sensitive eyes or light sensitivities
