Update - December 19, 2020: Where is the 10 star button? It's really adorable. I keep trying other headphones but these are by far the best. Definitely stick to my 5 star rating. Update - November 21, 2020: Upgraded to 5 stars. The sound on them is just amazing. And they stopped coming in and out - I think it might be some kind of interference coming from my apartment or the neighbors' apartment. In any case, it was short-lived and I'm once again enjoying the best sound quality I've ever heard from headphones, Bluetooth or not. happy happy! Highly recommended! Update - October 31, 2020: After a month or two, the bluetooth started to drop intermittently. It's very insignificant, but it happens 4-5 times or more in an hour. As much as I hate doing this because I love these headphones I am reducing my rating from 5 stars to 4. And if this continues or gets worse I will downgrade even more. Also, I should retract my advice below, drop everything and buy this. There are better ways to provide a reliable Bluetooth connection. Alternatively, when the on/off stops I'll upgrade my rating back to 5 stars due to the great sound quality. My initial review is as follows: Here's my advice in a nutshell - stop reading this review now and buy them while they're still available. Any price below, say $100-$150 is more than worth it! I've had 5-10 pairs of Bluetooth headphones but these Altec Lansing Evos are just wow! The audio fidelity in these headphones is amazing - way better than other headphones! You feel like you're in the studio when you listen live. I mean, it's not surprising - Altec Lansing makes excellent audio equipment and this is perhaps one of their greatest achievements. For comparison, yes, I'll admit I've given other in-ear headphones 4 or 5 stars in the past. But it's in a whole other league. I can't imagine the sound quality could be improved. And don't worry about the Bluetooth connection - it's solid. super dense. They won't know you're listening to a wireless connection. You get 4 hours of listening time on a single charge plus an additional 20 hours of listening time with the charger. Oh, and did I forget to mention that the charger supports wireless charging? And what does Altec Lansing actually include in the wireless charging dock and cable with these Evo headphones? The? It really exceeds all expectations. Also, don't be afraid to experiment with the different rubber caps included in the box. After using them for a while I finally got out the plastic bag with the rubber tips and replaced them with extra large ones and they fit great and the sound is so firm now! I just can't imagine what more you want or expect from wireless in-ear headphones. Yes, it's entirely possible that your particular phone or audio source has resident settings that don't quite match the Altec Lansing audio profile. It is possible to emphasize POSSIBLE that you need to download an equalizer on your phone/source to optimize the sound quality. Your preferred genre of music can also affect these settings. But that goes for ANY pair of headphones, and once tweaked, these Altec Lansings will sweep the competition away. Just my very humble opinion. Possibly the best product I have ever reviewed on Revain or anywhere else. Highly recommended!
