This is one of those kitchen items that I wish I had bought years ago and now I have it. I first bought one, then I had to buy a second one. It is leak proof and a 1 liter capacity is perfect for a wider range of kitchen and culinary tasks than you would expect. I make iced coffee in that cool water in the beverage fridge. The possibilities are just endless. Easy to open. The only downside is that you need either dishwater or a rinse wand to clean it properly. The neck of the bottle is so narrow that an adult hand cannot reach into it to clean the inside rim. So yes, you need a tool to help you clean when you wash your hands. Otherwise - buy two or three of them. You will want them!
