I bought this door lock because the key on my old one was bent. The assembly went well except for the cheap screws. Locking the door from the inside was perfect. Locking and unlocking the door from the outside is a different story. I always had trouble putting the key in the lock. I figured it was just new and if I use it more often it will sort itself out. Boy was I wrong. I'm coming home tonight and I can't get the key in the lock. Tried to put the key in the door for 5 minutes. Finally I gave in and used my trusty bent key to open the back door of my van. I plan to remove and re-enable my old lock tomorrow. Even with a bent key, I trust it more than this waste of money.
