I wanted the pants to be big and loose so I ordered them one size up. I'm 5'9 and ordered XL. They shrunk very little in the wash, but the oversized ankle straps broke in the first wash. But I would probably remove them, I still didn't need them. Overall the fit is great, it's unusual for me to buy pants that aren't too long or too short, it's nice not having to hem. Thank you! I will be buying more of these in the near future!
