Exactly what my AMD system needs.

Love this one Fan. I have an AMD 3 6 core processor and it is cooling it down. It's not at all bulky like other fans and fits perfectly on my small Biostar 880GA motherboard. Virtually silent in operation, looks good in my case and is engineered well enough not to disturb my 2 sticks of DDR 3 memory. Be Quiet fan coolers may be quieter, but they're also bulkier and can interfere with memory slots. Which would be my second choice. What a great upgrade for my noisy AMD fan that came with my CPU. I am totally impressed and satisfied and would recommend this fan to anyone who has a smaller motherboard and wants easy installation.

OFFSET ALUMINUM RADIATOR - The fin placement (with the 212X's superior fan cooling) has been offset slightly to reduce the overall height from 159mm to 155mm, freeing up motherboard space for high profile RAM slots
