This collar is very well made and strong. I use it on my Cane Corso. I particularly like that it's 1.5 inches wide instead of the usual 1 inch, which makes a big difference in guiding the dog, and I found that he didn't "choke" when I quickly adjusted him like he does with the narrow collar did. The only feature I don't like about the collar (however, most of this type seem to have the same flaw) is the velcro closure. I find it cumbersome to adjust the collar to the right size and I'm not a big fan of everyday use of putting the collar on and off. The Velcro sticks BEFORE you snap the buckle and because the buckle closure requires the collar to slide that extra 1/8 inch (approximately) slightly to click. The velcro seems to impede this movement and prevent me from getting the perfect fit I'm hoping for. All in all I am very happy with this collar and will continue to use it. I hope the velcro just sucks because it's a new way I'm getting used to this type of collar.
