After the bad weather the snow was still covered. The magnets are not strong enough to rely on. On a windless day it can be easy to try and move the damper on the door, but watch your fingers if it's windy. Quality: ok. It might tear, but it's about the thickness of a $2 tablecloth with foil on one side. However, it is waterproof. All in all, it might work for you on a good day, but bad luck on the day you need it most.
