I was looking forward to using my new leak detector. I put in new AAA batteries, nothing. I scanned the AC, nothing. Then I loosened the can with 34a and noticed a slight click, then I noticed faint streaks of light. My head had to be fairly close to the detector to hear it and it would help if it was at night and most of the ambient lights were off. I checked the AAA batteries and they were new. Must be a weak detector. I've seen in ratings/reviews that a soapy water sprayer works better, I think I'll give that a try. Used it for the first time a day after the return period closed. If you buy one, try it right away. Much luck.
