These spade bits are amazing. I use it with a Bosch 18V lithium-ion cordless drill and a similar Bosch cordless impact driver. Cuts quickly and cleanly. Note that to remove a drill from a hole that does not go through the part, you must reverse the drill. By repeating the cut, it can then be smoothed out so that the drill can be retrieved without moving backwards. This is especially important if you are using an extension (or any other extension) as otherwise the extension and bit could become separated. I bought this set after purchasing a set of standard length (6 inch) bits. If I had known about this set I would have just bought this one as it comes with an extension. The image shown by default is incorrect - The image shows a set of 6" bits, not a set of short bits. The extension works very well, although some people have been unhappy with the set screw mechanism. It worked well for me without over tightening and makes this set very versatile.
