My daughter has hand tremors and this has helped her handwriting a lot. It also helps her with meals so she doesn't need to have special utensils for school. I would highly recommend it to anyone whose child needs help with tremors. The weight is placed on the back of the hand with a strap that wraps around the knuckles and wrist. Her hand is sweaty, but she doesn't mind because of the benefits. The material stretches for a comfortable fit but doesn't seem to fray.
