Review on Enhance Laptop & Notebook Security with Sendt Pink Combination Lock Cable by Loren Slama

I wish I had bought something like this a long time ago! I work from home and like to go to cafes and other places from time to time just to get out of the house. The problem is that when I sit in a public place for a long time, sooner or later I have to get up to go to the toilet or do other things. With this lock, I can lock through a solid table leg (or other piece of furniture/fixture), through my backpack, and through the computer. At least that keeps even a brazen thief from quickly grabbing my things in a public place while I'm getting up for a moment. It gives me a little more peace of mind so I can leave the house for work and for longer periods more comfortably. As for the quality of the product itself, I have not used any other laptop locks so I have no means of comparison. However, I had no issues and couldn't expect this thing to do more or perform better. I've read some reviews about the difficulty of installing new code, but I found it quite easy (just read the instructions, but it's pretty intuitive. Set the old combination [0-0-0-0 is factory setting] , press / turn the screw to the vertical end position, install a new combination, return the screw to its original position). The red color makes it difficult to accidentally score. I use a little velcro to hold it up when packed in my bag. So far I've used it with two different types of computers (one is Asus and the other is HP) and it's worked great.
