Very good straps. Extraordinary update of my old one. OBTW, I was expecting it to have handles. maybe that's a wrong assumption on my part. After treating the leather with a high quality automotive leather product. Then I hung the leather strap for 24 hours and let gravity smooth it out. (The strap is loosely folded in a padded mailer.) The smooth leather side is perfect. The linen strap is well made. The "rough" leather side of the strap still needs sanding to remove small bits of hard material. These parts can seriously damage any blade during sharpening.
