Review on BTSD-Home Bed Risers: Heavy Duty Stackable Furniture Raisers πŸ›οΈ - 3 or 6 Inch - Set of 4 - Black by Crystal Thompson

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Sturdy, functional, ugly

The middle sections snap together easily to increase the height and the recess in the top shell is deep and wide enough to accommodate my bedchairs. Stacking 2 together adds almost 4.6 inches so it may be too tall for an elderly person. The cushions that are placed between the riser and the floor have no glue. So if you try to move the risers, the pillows won't move with the riser. This is a minus, since the only way to move the riser with the pillow is to remove the mattress from the bed to change the position of the risers. The first time you need to position the bed correctly unless you like lifting the mattress with weights. It may not be. Carpet is an issue as I don't think you will need the carpet pads. However, they are much stronger than the other brands I have had to return. I needed the extra height to temporarily store a large number of boxes under my bed , if I move to a smaller place. They provide a stable space for this. My duvet still covers the floor, so looking awkward is not a problem for me. I'm not sure I'll be using them in the living room as they aren't aesthetically pleasing. Conclusion: functional, stable, ugly and not easy to move. Still a good option for me and better than alternative products for someone older.
