When I first pulled them out they looked like they were too small, but I soon found that the intricately woven elastic was thin and softly conformed to the shape of my foot. The toe box is a bit tight for my taste due to the elastic bands, but I can still move my toes well. They are not hot, which is very convenient for me. I have to keep my toenails short though! My "Egyptian" shaped feet (tapered thumb down) have plenty of room to move, but I think my other toes might catch in the toe strap if they were longer. This is fine for my foot shape, but I recommend going up a half size if you have long toes. Although it works for me. I like my new shoes so far.
