Reading the reviews, many complain that the tire changer does not work properly. When my device arrived I had the same problem on my 2014 machine. I was unable to push the tire liner onto the tire's valve stem far enough to engage the pin valve and allow air into the tire. Tried it on two other machines. didn't work with them either. I was willing to return the unit for a refund - realizing the bus terminal could be disassembled so I had nothing to lose, I disassembled it by simply unscrewing the terminal from the threaded connection. end of the hose. There was only one part in the cartridge. a 3/16" soft white silicone washer that was responsible for sealing the cartridge against the valve stem when the tire was inflated. It was also the part that prevented the cartridge from bottoming out on the tire's valve stem far enough to close it open. Tire pin valve. So I used a utility knife and shaved about 1/16" off the washer, so instead of 3/16" it was now 1/8" thick. I fitted a modified washer (with the cut side facing the bottom of the brass cartridge rather than the tire nipple for a better seal), screwed the cartridge back onto the threaded end of the hose and tried it on my car. Well now the chuck snapped onto the valve stem very securely and immediately/correctly actuated the tire's pin valve, showing me the tire pressure and allowing me to inflate it to the correct pressure with one hand. Problem with the tire changer. constant! As for the accuracy of the built-in sensor. it matched my Joe's Racing Garage analog pickup exactly (known for its accuracy). both showed my tires at 37PSI. I filled them up to 40psi and both gauges matched again. If you repair the cartridge this gas generator will be stolen as it is all metal and good quality. unless. it's useless.
