Better than the old and new Philips Nurelcos which cost twice as much. I shave my long beard (I have the thickest facial hair imaginable) and shave my head. Philips Nurelco has gotten worse in recent years, and if you don't (probably) buy the ones that cost over $200, you're essentially getting a technologically flawed device (they make the holes smaller and remove the rows of blades). Unlike Physco, you get everything in one package. Battery life is very good - I used it for a week until it died - daily. Definitely the best travel block, also for its ability to shave hair of any length. Long term use isn't possible yet as I only got them a month ago (whatever you say about Philips Nurelco - their units literally last forever - never break). Will update when I go Update for the year: Purchased three units (one for home, one for work and one as a gift). One stopped loading after a few months, the other DOA and replaced (new no problem). Hence I deducted a star. I still recommend it - and I hate to say "for the price" because it's decent, but yes, for the price.
