When I first installed the D it worked so I put my old D back and figured I'll wear it until I need a new D but a new ignition control model for the New D stalls when heated. I didn't notice this until I decided to upgrade to the new D before replacing the valve guide seals. The new D died after warming up to normal operating temperature. I changed the ICM from the old D to the new D and it runs, does not go out without spark and runs better since the old D was so rusty. I think there are tests for the ICM but I'm pretty sure the new ICM is bad or not working with my 1987 K5 350 TBI Blazer.
