I saw a YouTube video of this product being used to clean a dirty car engine bay. I used it on my 20 year old Miata. The only precaution I took was to cover the generator with a plastic bag. Spray generously around the engine, including the firewall. Leave on for a minute and rinse off gently with water. Do not use a strong jet of water! He took off the plastic bag. Just in case your spark plugs are up like the Miata, look for water near the spark plug, then start the car and drive for 10 minutes. Really good job! Quick update, make sure there is no water in the spark plug holes. Blow them out with air or let them dry by removing the boots from the pegs.
