"Compostable " is good for forks

Calling it compostable is a bit misleading. I went to the company's website to see how long it would take for them to decompose after disposal and it said they were compostable at an industrial composting facility. In my area I would have to deliver them myself to the nearest composting plant. While they're still better than plastic, I wouldn't call them "compostable" without adding the note (like they did with "recyclable" in the description) that you would also need a factory to compost them . But they are of excellent quality. I would say they are more durable than plastic and if you wanted to you could probably wash and reuse them.

Pros
  • Paper and plastic
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly
