Review on Dorman HELP Bypass Pulley 34184 by Jason Dennis

A few complaints: 1. The unit was not suitable for installation in my truck. The screws that come with the kit need washers to hold them properly. Bad form.2. The kit includes a couple of bushings that should help align this unit well on the engine. The problem is that the holes in the casting are much larger than the bushings, so the bushings are useless.3. Once I got past #1 and #2 above, the pulley worked great for about a week. Then the belt started to squeak. Doh! So I took it off the truck and bought a non-AC truck belt. It worked great. It just had to be done from the start. I just didn't want to change the belt which I just put on before the A/C compressor did its job. if you think about it I think the holes in the cast were too big. This leads to #1 and #2 above. Doesn't matter anymore. I have removed it.
