I liked the idea of streamlining and fixing the excess wiring and making this base station more attractive. However, the performance of this product leaves a lot to be desired. The idea is that the station is securely attached to the mount. The plastic molding on the product I received has no 'hook' and just a bulge that doesn't hold the station to a vertical electrical connector. I will use double sided tape or heat resistant glue to attach it to the attic, which isn't necessary.
