This amplifier requires 110V AC power. The amp is technically powered from a 12v supply, but if you are only using what is included you will not be able to run this amp from a 12v supply. I think if you really wanted to you could just cut the wire from the power supply and connect it to the wire coming from the 12v power supply. It would be nice if they only included a connector for that so you can do that not having to cut existing cables to make it work in automotive or marine applications. Other than that, this amp is decent and does what it's supposed to do.
