I ride a 2002 KTM 250 EXC and my original petcock leaked when it was parked. I searched the aftermarket for a direct replacement and this one looked good. I have had good experience with Acerbis products, so I wasn't worried about the quality. It was a straight fit. Keep your original tapping screws though, as the one that came had a smaller thread pitch than the KTM. The dial turned easily and had the right amount of resistance. Like all quality off-road products I get, it has been coated with a light coating of grease like the original KTM crank to prevent corrosion.
