Looks good, bad reception

Fits perfectly instead of the native antenna with no gaps, looks good. But my radio reception is very weak now. I don't care as I bought it for looks rather than functionality. But if the manufacturer can do something to improve reception in the next batch, I'm sure the next buyer will be much happier.
