This is a great heat protectant. However, it will not protect your butt if you slip and fall from the remnants of this material on a tile or wooden floor. Ask me why I know This material makes a hard floor the most slippery surface known to man and beast. Yes, that's right, now even the dog is afraid of the bathroom floor. I tried using it outside of the bathroom thinking it was a problem with our tiles but only managed to dismantle part of the wood floor. Good times.
