Pick a tire from a wide selection. Why pay 4-5 thousand more each bottle for Michelin when there is a more inexpensive alternative is beyond me. But this is just my viewpoint. I spent a very long time picking up wheels for the winter, reading numerous papers that they selected for my car, and asking my teammates questions, and the majority of the time I was given this positional advice. I have no regrets as of yet. They float on asphalt and are incredibly soft. Wet braking is beneficial. I do, indeed, travel in a Skoda Octavia A5. I selected the 205 55 R16 XL size. I'll add to the review since Hong Kong hasn't yet started its snow season. 2022 December. The wheels look fantastic now that the snow is gone! On snowy suburban streets and ice, the grip is superb.
