Simple and correct solution for sticky tailgate
Sticky tailgate finally fixed! Replacement is easy, there are two (2) to remove the rear door panel, one in the handle and the second in the handle area. Remove the plastic frame around the inner handle (pull the top of the frame out and then up). Pull out the door panel, starting at the top and working down the sides. The lever bar is attached to the latch with a plastic clip. Remove the four (4) 10mm nuts and remove the latch assembly from the inside of the door.
