I bought this in July 2017 to keep my curls in place while I slept and not to wake up with a headpiece. It helps a little. It's better than using a regular pillowcase, but I "pineapple" (loose ponytail on top) my hair to go to bed. I hand wash weekly (more like soaking in milky detergent and cold water, then turning the pillowcase in water and rinsing) as directed, and I just noticed a hole near the zipper. Spring. If I invest in a more expensive one, hopefully the quality will be better and it will last longer. UPDATE: After I left my review, the seller contacted me and offered a replacement. I have to say I was very impressed with the level of customer service and the attention given to me as a dissatisfied customer. I received my replacement and continue to wash my hands with Dreft's gentle cleanser every week. I take MORE care when washing my hands than I did my original pillowcase and hope this time it will help extend the life. I hope it will. Anyway, I'm more than a happy buyer judging by the way the seller treated me.
