This is what is being described but it might be useful to know about the bits not described: The input pins (where you plug these into the power supply) are 20A configured, ie one of the flat contacts is at right angles to the other. Perhaps this could be deduced from the 20A rating, but this is not obvious. I had to go for the adapter - no big deal. There is an output socket on either side of the tread - one has a round pin at the top and the other at the bottom - a nice and useful design element not obvious in the photos. It has a massive protection rating for a relatively low price. I'm glad I have it.
