I recently upgraded my MacBookPro to a newer 2019 model with four USB Type-C ports. My old MacBookPro had a MiniDisplay port on which I ran the Apple Cinema HD 23 monitor with inch DVI using the Apple DVI-to-MiniDisplay Adapter. I assumed the Apple MiniDisplay to USB Type-C adapter would work with the new MBPro. So I tried CableCreation's USB Type-C to DVI adapter, which claims to be compatible with MBPro 2019. It did not work. I then tried the Benfei USB Type-C to DVI adapter, which claims to be compatible with the new MBPro as well, but that didn't work. Then I tried the UPTab USB Type C to MiniDisplay Adapter, thinking it would work with my Apple DVI to MiniDisplay Adapter, but it didn't. HDCP Adapter Off". IT WORKS!
