I have an MS Surface Pro 7 configured in a desktop configuration with a USB-C dock that has HDMI output for my monitor and additional USB ports for keyboard, mouse and extended storage offers. The docking station also supplies power via USB-C. Although the Surface Pro 7 has a proprietary charger and adapter, it can still be powered using Power Deliver over USB-C. For me this means I can use one cable for power/monitor/keyboard/mouse - very convenient. However, the PSU I used for this setup behaved very poorly from the start. Just kicking it with your foot will loosen it. Although he didn't turn off the computer, he unplugged the docking station and took the monitor, keyboard, mouse, and memory with him. Very annoying. However, this source is working properly. Very happy.
