Dogs don't like these steps.
I have two ladders for my two boobs. They weigh 20 pounds and 30 pounds. All these steps are made of foam and dogs are afraid of them because they are soft. They work well, but dogs don't like to drown in them. The steps I made out of sturdy cardboard are much better. Dogs don't drown and feel safer. If you have a very light dog I think it will be fine. If your dog is around 20 pounds, he might not like the soft material either.
