The filter size was 2-3/16" instead of 2-1/2", making it about 13% smaller. Filters depend on the "surface" to be filtered. With a 13% smaller surface, the filtration quality is reduced by 13%, which means that additional sediment can pass through. And of course the filters don't last that long. Previous purchases from other sellers were 2-1/2 inches as described in their ad.
