This product was recommended by a wound care worker and the technology is amazing. This bandage is WATERPROOF and can stay on for up to 7 days, making it more affordable. The edge can be lifted, the ointment applied daily and the glue sticks again like a miracle. Even when the dressing was applied to the newly healed site, no irritation occurred. I had an infection at my surgical site that left a horrible wound that was classified as a burn. After 7 weeks in the burns department and in the rehabilitation center with skin grafting, the wounds still had to be treated at home.
