Review on ⏳ Antique-Style 30 Minute Hourglass - Authentic Models, 18th Century Industrial Design, Bronzed and Honey Distressed French Finish by Monica Miller

I've been looking for quality hourglasses for months and have seen a lot of bad reviews about them. I researched this one and bought it even though it was smaller than I wanted. I call it "medium" because it's 5.25 inches high and 3 inches at the top (the wooden base is taller). I was very happy with the quality when I received it. I looks and feels solid and feels antique. Mine runs 33 minutes +/- 15 seconds based on 6 turns - no slowdown or stop, some residual sand at the end, typical of an hourglass (less than 15 seconds). No hourglass will be accurate, so within 10% of the specified time (30 minutes) is not a problem. The base was made in India and the hourglass (made in China but appears to be made to spec) has a slightly yellowish sand. I would recommend it as a gift. Durable - I would have no hesitation in using it as a time saver in the kitchen, for meetings or anything else.
