Yes, they're a little limited in range, compared to other modules I've installed, but once they're set up, they work fine.That's the other problem: it takes some effort to make these link properly. I ordered 4 smart plugs. 3 easily paired and were operational in minutes. The 4th would not pair. I contacted CS and was told company would immediately replace the defective plug. They did X2! 2 new plugs arrived and are doing just what need them to do. Thank you, Dianna!

If you are not tech savvy and you have a dual band router you may never get these plugs to work. Once I got the correct 2.4ghz wifi connection to show, I downloaded the Tuya Smart App (The one from HBN never worked) and from there it was easy. I give it three stars only because it was not easy from the start.

Manual is a little hard to follow, but outlet works great! I love the fact that I can operate everything from my iPhone now.

Product was very easy to both connect to our network and to our smart speaker. We had 1 of the 8 plugs we purchased fail to install, but one email to the manufacturer and a replacement was at our door within 3 business days. Highly recommend the company and this product! Get the 4 pack. First one set up quick and easy. The other 3 for some reason decided to not want to work so well. After giving up the first night and trying again the 2nd day, they finally started showing up in the setup process. No problems since then.

My l;ow rating had nothing to do with the quality of the product. It just ABSOLUTELY must have a 2.4 GHz network. I have a 5 GHz network and it will not work. I'm sorry I couldn't use it because it reads as if it would be perfect for my needs.

I was unable to get the app that comes with it to recognize it- which then made my Alexa app not useable. So I can't really say- but if nothing else the ability to set it up was not there. so as a normal plug with a "on off I guess it's ok".

These are not as easy to setup as the "enbrighten” brand but once you are able to connect one it makes the process of connecting the next ones way easier. Love being able to set the timer for multiple times a day and it works great!

These are a little bigger than I thought but work perfectly for the Christmas lights and the timer setting comes in handy. Only draw back is you have to download the hbn app, they don't connect to Alexa without doing that 1st. Other brands I have been able to connect with Alexa with adding another app to my phone. But needed if you want to use the timer option.

You might think that all the wifi smart switches ought to use the same app; I know that I did. I was wrong. So now I have yet another app on my phone. Otherwise, these set up and operate just about the same as all the others. If the price is right, they're just fine.

I love this smart plug it goes great if you have alexia. You can tell Alexia what time you want to turn the plug on and off. I use it for Christmas lights mainly, but it can be used for other times of lights or any product that plugs in.

I got these for automating some sump pumps and also Christmas lights. Setup was a breeze with the Smart Life app to connect to wifi, set schedules and an ifttt program. Only complaint is that the WiFi plug is so big it'll block the other outlet on the wall unless it's not a grounded cord you're trying to plug in.

One in the 2-pack worked and the other didn’t. I emailed the company BN-Link and they got back to me in less than an hour with the tracking number for the replacement. FYI, ebay had the wrong contact information of try and get support. The correct website is bn-link.com.

Got it set up and working with my Alexa devices, but not as easy as the ebay plugs. First you have to download the HBN app and create an account. Then you plug in the plug, find your network- you MUST have a 2.4 Ghz network if you only have 5 Ghz it won't work - enter the password for your network, then hit reset on the plug and search for it in the app. Once its found you're good to go.
